At an altitude of 1,500 to 3,250 meters, the ski resort on the Hintertux Glacier is well-equipped to provide the ultimate in piste fun all year round. 59 kilometers of pistes, varying degrees of difficulty, the legendary glacier circuit in the Ski- & Glacier world Zillertal 3000, ski schools and much more will give you unforgettable hours on the eternal ice.

Skiing & snowboarding already in autumn in Hintertux

Already in September, the first snow falls in the ski area on the Hintertux Glacier. Perfect for enjoying the first turns on sunny slopes! Snowboarders will also be showing their freestyle skills in the Funpark, called Betterpark Hintertux, from mid-September. As one of the highest snow parks in Austria and the best in the Alps, both rookies and beginners as well as pros expect cool lines for jumping and shredding. The snowpark opening in Europe with an exciting supporting program such as a free snowboard test and a special obstacle marks the start of the snowboard season.
