Ski courses for kids, beginners and advanced skiers
Beginners can make their first attempts on skis in the Kinder Flohpark – the beginner ski lift with practice slope – in Hintertux, which is located right beside our Hotel Neuhintertux. Advanced skiers ski on the Hintertux Glacier. Additionally, children can learn to ski very easily at the Tuxertal Ski School in a 10-stage training route. In addition to four-hour full-day ski courses, two-hour group courses are also offered. Two-hour kids’ courses are available for children as young as 3 years and older

Nature ice palace on the Hintertuxer Glacier
The Nature's Ice Palace in Tyrol is a unique natural jewel in the world and an ideal year-round excursion destination in all weathers for the whole family. Marvel at magical ice stalactites, frozen waterfalls, giant sparkling ice crystals and a glacial lake. Visitors to the ice cave can choose from various tours with experienced guides.

Spannagel Cave at the Hintertux Glacier
The highest-situated commercial cave and largest natural cave of the central Alps is approximately 12.5 km long. A trained guide leads visitors on the one-hour long tour through the unique cave.The Spannagel Cave is a dry cave and thus a fascinating contrast to the Nature’s Ice Palace for families.
